One Home Campaign

Species diversity is vital for ecosystem stability, providing essential services like pollination, clean water, and carbon storage. Each species plays a unique role in maintaining biodiversity. But species do not exist in isolation; they maintain balance while relying on interconnected relationships. Tragically, human activity has driven extinction rates to alarming levels; currently 1,000 to 10,000 times higher than the natural rate.

WWF plays a crucial role in tackling species extinction by leading global conservation efforts, restoring habitats, and promoting sustainable practices. Through advocacy, education, and on-the-ground initiatives, WWF works to protect endangered species and ensure a thriving planet for future generations.

One Home is a conceptual campaign for WWF.

Challenge

Turning Awareness into Action

Most people recognise environmental issues, but their engagement is shallowand short-lived. This limits collective impact and slows conservation efforts.

The One Home campaign bridges the gap by turning passive observers into active participants. It fosters a deep, personal bond between humans and endangered species, inspiring a sense of

responsibility and stewardship for their survival. By showing the urgency of habitat destruction, the campaign highlights that protecting these species means protecting our shared home. Through interactive activities, entertainment, and education, it

makes conservation personal.

We are one family, and it's our duty to help every member thrive.

Wave Of Change Bins

Every year, an estimated 8 to 12 million metric tons of plastic and other waste end up in the ocean.

If plastic waste is managed on land before it reaches the ocean, up to 50% of it could potentially be recycled, depending on local recycling facilities, waste management practices, and the type of plastic.

Of the plastic waste that enters the ocean each year, only about 9% is actually recyclable. Unfortunately, due to a combination of factors—like contamination, lack of infrastructure, and the degradation of plastics in marine environments—recycling rates are low, even for plastic that theoretically could be recycled.

The "Wave of Change Bins" are designed to inspire eco-conscious habits and prevent trash from polluting our oceans.

These unique bins are equipped with soothing ocean sounds and feature a net on top of water, symbolizing a barrier that stops waste from entering the sea. People can place their old clothes for recycling or dispose of their trash responsibly. These bins will be placed in Malls,Parks,Beaches etc.

The interactive design creates a sensory connection to the sea, reminding users that every small action helps protect marine life and keeps our waters clean. "Wave of Change Bins" aim to turn everyday recycling into a meaningful, ocean-saving gesture.
